How it works

How Motored works

Every purchase is protected from payment to delivery. Here is how we keep it safe.

Escrowed payments

When you pay, the money sits in a Motored escrow account. Funds release to the seller only after you confirm the part fits. You have 14 days to raise a dispute — control stays with you the whole way.

Fitment information

Listings show the manufacturer (OEM) part code when the seller provides one, and the vehicles the part fits. If the part doesn't fit your car although its description said it would, open a dispute and get your money back.

Disputes & returns

You have 14 days from delivery to open a dispute directly from the order page. Our team reviews evidence, talks with both sides, and decides within 3 business days.

Seller verification

Sellers are paid through Stripe, which verifies each seller's identity and bank account (KYC) before the first payout. Sellers who have completed it carry the “Verified” badge.

Common questions about safety

Is it safe to pay online?
Yes. Your money is held in escrow and is only released to the seller once you confirm the part arrived and fits.
Do used parts come with a warranty?
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to open a dispute — if the part does not match its description, including the vehicles it was listed to fit, you get your money back.
How do I return a part?
Start the return from your account inside the return window. Once the part is back with the seller, we refund to the original payment method.
How does delivery work?
Parts ship with DPD — to a parcel locker or to your address. Delivery inside Lithuania normally takes 1–3 business days and you can track the parcel in your account.
How do I check whether a part fits my car?
Every listing states which car the part came from — make, model, generation and years. Add your car to “My garage” and Motored will only show parts that fit. If a part still does not fit, we take it back.
